Among Us Running From Imposter is an engaging multiplayer game that allows four to fifteen gamers to join in the fun, with a recommended minimum of five players. In each round, up to three players are chosen at random to be the Impostor(s), adding an element of mystery and deception to the gameplay.

As of 2021, players can experience thrilling rounds on one of four unique maps: The Skeld spaceship, MIRA HQ headquarters building, Polus earth base, or the Aircraft inspired by Innersloth's Henry Stickmin series. The Impostor(s) can achieve victory by either eliminating most of the crew or sabotaging a crucial system on the map, provided the Crewmates fail to fix it in time. On the other hand, the Crewmates can secure a win by completing all tasks or by identifying and ejecting all Impostors.
